Arrival to Albania

Travelling document :
A valid passport is required to enter in Albania.
Identity cards are valid to enter in Albania ,for the Union Europe Countries also
Andorra, Monaco, Island, Norway, San Marino, Australia, Canada, U.S.A, New Zealand, Switzerland.
The citizens of following countries entry without visa, only by payment of a tax-border.
Argentina, ,Macedonia,, Montenegro, Croatia, ,Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey, Israel, Japan, South Korea.
All foreign citizens of Albanian nationally, during the summer tourist season, between 1 of June until 30 of September can enter in Albania without visa.
Do not need visa for this period of time the citizens from Serbia and Bosnia -Herzegovina
The Citizens of the following countries can enter in Republic of Albania ,organized in Touristic Groups with invitation card from the Travel Agencies, witch obtain 72 hours Visa in group by payment:
Baharain, Bolivia, Brasil, Brunei, Equador, Hong-Kong, Honduras, Guatemala, Kily,
Costa -Rica, Mexico, Moldavia, Panama,Paraguai,Peru, Russia,Salvador,Tailand,Taiwan,
Ukraine, Uruguay, Venezuela, Jamaica
The citizens of other countries are required to obtain visas in the embassies of the Republic of Albania or Albanian Consulates in their respective or neighboring countries
Boundary-dues:
Entrance tax for foreign citizens that enter in territory of Albanian Republic is 10 Euro
for period 01 November - 01 May, while for period 01 May - 01 November don't pay
the boundary-dues.
Customs
All personal items, new or old may be taken in Albania without incurring duties. A reasonable amount of tobacco, beverages and perfumes for personal use is allowed.
Prohibited items: Firearms, ammunition, narcotics, drugs and goods jeopardizing the observance of public order and social security. Special export permits are required for precious metals, ancient coins and scroll, antiques, books and works of art, which are considered to be part of national culture and heritage.
