TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
It is known as the city of one thousand windows and is declared a "museum city".
It is built on the shores of the Osumi River and with a history over 2400 years old. Originally a settlement of the Illyrian tribe of Desaretes, it became a castle-city in the 3rd century A.D, known by the name of Antipatrea. Several churches were built inside the castle walls, houses and Onufri Museum all adorned by frescoes and precious paintings. A school for calligraphy was also established there. While sightseeing, you can reach the castle on foot passing through the quarter of Mangalem and Gorica.
