Tour Program

Day 1: Depart to Shkodra

Meet and assisted by our representative in arrival. Transfer by coach in Shkoder.
Check in the 3 star Hotel. In the evening walking tour to the main center of the
city which is even the heritage center, visit the Watch Tower, Steam-bath, the
Grand church etc. Dinner and overnight in Shkodra.

Day 2: Shkodra - Lezha -Kruja - Durres

After breakfast at hotel it'll be a visit to Rozafa Castle and it's museum to
learn about the famous legend of the woman who was buried alive into the
walls of the castle, it belongs to the II century BC. The tour will proceed to
Lezha city known since the IV century BC with the name of Lissus. Visit to the
Scanderbeg memorial which is found to Saint Nicolas cathedral and to Lezha
castle, a culturalmonument, testimony of Illyrian civilization. Continue to Kruja,
visit the castle of Kruja, Historical Museum of our National hero George
Kastrioti Scanderbeg and the old bazaar where you can have some wonderful
hand made souvenirs. In afternoon transfer to Durres city, 3000 years of
civilization. Short sightseeing tour in Durres, visit to the fortress build since
the IV-V, Roman amphitheatre with the form of an ellipse shape, with the
capacity of 20.000 spectators and the Venetian tower.Dinner and overnight
in Durres.

Day 3 : Durres- Berati- Vlora

After breakfast transfer in the 2400 years city of Berat which is known as the
(1000 windows city) testimony of the history is the fortress, build in the
highesthill of the city. Inside the walls of the fortress you'll visit a lot of
tourist objects such as: Onufer Museum, Saint Trinity Church, Saint Nicolas
Cathedral etc.The tour proceeds to Narta's Lake a well-known area since the
ancient times for the wine-grower. You'll move into Zvernec Island to visit the
Monastery and the Saint Mary's Church build in the XVI century. Continue to
Vlora city, accommodation in 3 stars hotel. Overnight in Vlora.

Day 4: Vlora- Himara - Saranda

After breakfast at hotel, the trip proceeds along the Ionian seashore or as
known Albanian Riviera is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and unspoiled
regions in Albania. Short visit to Oricum, which was established in the
7th - 6th century B.C. Julius Caesar, stationed his troops in camps there for
several months, until they were taken by Pompey (Pompeius Magnus).
Stopover to Dhermi, a large and beautiful village with about 30 old churches
picturesquely placed on the rough mountainside. Lunch in ancient city of
Himara. After lunch continue to Saranda, short visit to the bay of Porto
Palermo to the castle of Ali Pasha and Borsh Castle built on the fourth century
B.C., by Epirote- Illyrian tribes. Afternoon arrive to Butrinti Archaeological Site,
Part of UNESCO World Heritage. Visit the Temple of Aesclepios, the
Baptistery, Nymph, The Theatre, Lions Gate, Acropolis, etc. Return to
Saranda. Accommodation in hotel Brillant 4 *. In the evening, city tour in
Saranda ( incl visit in the synagogue) . In the evening visit to "Lekursi Castle"
Dinner at restaurant (built on the ruins of the old castle).Overnight in Saranda.

Day 5: Saranda- Butrinti - Gjirokastra

In the morning tour to the ancient city of Butrint which is part of world
heritage protected by UNESCO. It dates since the VIII'Th century BC. There
you'll visit :Acropolis which belongs to the VIII'Th century BC, The Temple
dedicated to Asclep ( the healing god ) of the IV'Th century BC,the Gate of
the lake of the IV'Th century BC,the Roman theatre of III century BC,Agoraja
the main trading center of the city, The gymnasium, a holy pagan place, the
grand basilica of the VI'Th century AC, a Roman house, a fountain which
belongs to the II century BC,the castle and the Venetian tower of XIV-XVI
century AC. In afternoon we'll trip to Gjirokastra city, along the way a short
stop at "Blue Eye" source where you can have a coffee during the time you
learn about the story of this amazing place. In the evening arrival to stony
city of Gjirokastra which has a uncial style with stone buildings. This city is
part of world heritage protected by UNESCO. Accommodation
in Cajupi hotel 3 stars.Dinner and overnight in Gjirokastra.

Day 6: Gjirokastra- Apolonia -Tirana

After the breakfast to the hotel, visit to the castle of the city build since the
IV'Th century and the old bazaar with its characteristic shops. The tour
proceeds to Apollonia ancient city which is known since the year 588 BC.
Archaeological Park Apollonia, achieved its zenith in the 4th - 3rd centuries
B.C. In the first century B.C., Octavian Augustus studied philosophy there until
he heard news of Caesar's murder in the Senate and went on to become the
next Roman emperor. In the evening transferto the Capital of Albania, Tirana.
Accommodation in 3 stars hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Tirana.

Day 7: Departure from Albania

After breakfast in hotel, it will be a walking tour to the main center to visit the
watch tower build in 1830, the E'them Bey Mosque, build in 1789. Transfer to
departure from Albania.
