Day 1. Arrival and departure to Berat
Meet and assist in arrival. Transfer to Berat city. Visit the fortress of the
city and its churches. St. Michael built in the 13' Th centuries. Theodore,
Saint Trinity and the most interesting is the cathedral of St. Nicholas.
Accommodation in hotel Tomori 3 stars. Dinner and overnight in Berat
Day 2. Pojan Monastery,Ardenica, Kuzum Baba,
Zvernec Monastery
After breakfast, the tour will proceed to the coastal city of Vlora,
visit to medieval monastery of Ardenica, Continue to Pojan
Monastery, with the beautiful St. Mary's Chapel. This is an ancient
monastery, as evidenced by an inscription on the left side of its west
wing, and was reconstructed by the Byzantine Emperor, Andronicus
Palaeologus the Second. Below the inscription there is a painting
of the emperor's family, which features eight people in regal
ceremonial dress. Another inscription on a stone slab found at the
bottom of an outer southern wall of the chapel, bears the date 31
March 858. The whole interior of this chapel built in theByzantine
style was once covered in paintings. The church features the first
four icons of the iconostasis. Here and there on the surrounding walls
one can see bas-reliefs of the ancient town of Apollonia. The chapel
is dedicated to the Assumption of Our Lady, Saint Mary, celebrated on
the 15th of August each year, day in which a regional fair is held in
the area. You'll move into Zvernec Island to visit the Monastery and
the Saint Mary's Church build in the XVI century. In evening visit to
the Kuzum Baba which is located on the Eastern part of Vlora, about
30 meters above sea level. On top of the hill is situated Kuz Baba
masjid, the religious centre of Bektashi sect in Vlora region.

Day 3. Churches and Monasteries of Jonian Riviera
In the morning we'll depart from Vlora's city and proceed through the
panoramic road of Jonian Riviera, Stop in Dhermi on the roadsides,
15-minutes climb from the National Road to Saint Mary Monastery,
a basilica with a Byzantine-style wooden and tiled dome with a single
nave. An old church, with a Byzantine-style dome dating back to the
14th century, serves as the communion area. The Archbishop Ioannis
of Himara and Delvina commissioned frescos to decorate the church in
1781. The Church of Ipapandia is situated very close to the beach and
can be reached via a 5-minute drive on secondary roads. Exhibiting
typical features of the mid14th century churches on the Albanian coast,
the Church of Ipapandia has a large, semi-circular shaped atrium, which
is divided by the narthex. The narthex features two entrances and a stone
iconostas, the screen or wall dividing the sanctuary from the nave in
traditional Church and Panais Monastery Orthodox and Catholic churches.
Another interesting characteristic of the church is the high, elegant bell tower
erected on the western façade. Proceed to ancient city of Himara. It contains
a number of houses and churches of the post-Byzantine period. Perhaps the
most beautiful church within the walls is the Church of Saints Sergius and
Bacchusand, alsoknown as the Church of All Saints, this former seat of the
archbishopric of Himara showcases church walls preserving its multiple
phases of construction,part of them being built on top of earlier walls. Original
construction is thought to have occurred towards the end of the 10 th century
After lunch in Himara we will take time to visit the Borsh Mosque, is the only
monument of the castle that is almost fully preserved. In 1769, the
commander of the castle, a supporter of Ali Pasha's, conducted massive works
that enabled people to live inside the castle. Arrival in Saranda.Dinner
and overnight in Saranda.
Day 4. Saranda - Gjirokastra -Permet
After breakfast drive to Gjirokastra, stop to visit the unusual church of
St. Nicholas at Mesopotam with its fine carvings of mythological beasts.
Your visit will continue at the church in Varoush quarter, dates back to
1776 and rebuilt in 1883, the church in the old Bazaar, where you can
visit the shops situated in the narrow streets to take a souvenir. Lunch
at a traditional restaurant.After lunch, proceeded to Permet, known as
the "Flowers City". You'll see Leuses Church build in 1614.Dinner and
overnight in Permet.
Day 5. Permet -Korce-Voskopoje
In the morning transfer to Korca, the journey progress to Voskopoja
which is known since the XIII'Th century as a Cultural- Artistic center.
In 1769 its population was 30.000 inhabitants. To Saint Nicholas church
you will see some of the most splendid icons made by the most famous
Albanian painters. To Voskopoja there are 24 small churches that are
programmed to visit.Lunch in Voskopoja. Dinner and overnight in Korca.
After dinner it will be a walking tour through the Serenade city.
Day 6. Voskopoja - Pogradec - Elbasan- Tirana
After the breakfast, departure to visit Pogradec city which is one of the
most beautiful tourist places of Albania for its position, water front of
Ohrid lake .A brief stop to Elbasan (ancient Scampa) to visit Bazaar Hamam,
built in the sixteenth century. The older building is located further down the
road. It has hot and cold rooms. The hamam was rebuilt in 1874; it has 8
windows and a well-known Ottoman mosque.Continue to Tirana.

Day 7. Departure from Albania
After breakfast, visit to E'them bey mosque build in 1789 .Transfer to departure
from Albania.
