TOUR PROGRAM

Day 1. : Departure to Pogradec
Meet and assistance in arrival. Transport by private coach A/C to Pogradec city. Along the way stopover to Elbasan, visit "Skampa" ancient Castle which belongs to 15'Th century, the Turkish Bathhouse etc. Continuing to Pogradec, the Ohrid Lake. Dinner at a local restaurant where you can taste the famous fish of the Lake, alkoran. Accomodation in 3 star hotels Overnight in Pogradec.
Day 2. Pogradec-Prespa-Korca

In the morning the tour will proceed to the International Park of Prespa Lake with such a charming beauty of nature, there are two small islands which are called Mali Grad & Golem Grad. In these area there are 19 small churches dated since the X'th century. The most interesting are Saint Mary church and Eremite church where you can see singular objects which belongs to Byzantine period such as different murals etc. In the evening arrival to Korca (City of serenades).Visit to the medievalism art museum which present the Albanian civilization. Dinner and overnight to Hotel Grand 3 stars in Korca.

Day 3. Korca-Voskopoja

In the morning visit to Mborje village to see the Ristozi church, the journey progress to Voskopoja which is known since the XIII'th century as a Cultural- Artistic center. In its glory days (1760s) it is said that it had a population surpassing 60,000 and was the second most important city of the Balkans as regards to population and prosperity, surpassed only by Constantinople. To Saint Nicholas church you will see some of the most splendid icons made by the most famous Albanian painters. To Voskopoja there are 24 small churches that are programmed to visit. Lunch in Voskopoja. Dinner and overnight in Korca. After dinner it will be a walking tour through the Serenade city.

Day 4. Korce-Permet-Gjirokaster

After breakfast our tour will progress to Permet city. Along the way, you will enjoy the wonderful views of nature, the national park of Hotova, a natural complex really attractive, there are different kinds of animals in this complex such as: Bears, Wolves, and Foxes etc.
We will proceed along the Vjosa River and see the charming canyons of Kelcyra outfall. The way pass through Tepelena city, the native land of Ali Pasha Tepelena, where is found the medieval castle with the same name.In the evening arrival to the stony city of Gjirokastra, accommodation to Cajupi hotel. Dinner and overnight in Gjirokastra.

Day 5. Gjirokaster- Apolonia -Berat

After breakfast, visit to the castle of the city which belongs to the IV'Th century, Arms museum and the old bazaar with its characteristic shops. This city is part of world heritage of UNESCO. The journey will progress to the ancient city of Apollonia, which is known since the year 588 BC. This city has existed, circa 1200 years. . In the first century B.C., Octavian Augustus studied philosophy there until he heard news of Caesar's murder in the Senate and went on to become the next Roman emperor. In afternoon departure to Berat city which is known as the "city of 1000 windows". Accommodation to hotel Tomori 3 stars.Dinner and overnight in Berat.

Day 6. Berat-Durres-Tirana

After breakfast, we will visit Berat city which has been founded 2400 years ago, testimony is the fortress of the city build on the most charming hill of the city. From the inside of the fortress you will see a lot of historical objects such as: Saint Trinity church, enclosed by 20 smaller churches. After a short brake, you can have a coffee, water front of Osum River, our journey proceed to Durres city where we shall present 3000 years of civilization of the biggest sea port city of Albania. Progress with a visit to the Roman amphitheatre which has an ellipse form and capacity of 20.000 spectators, the amphitheatre's surface is 120 hectares and 44 km of circumference.The Venetian tower 9.5 m high. In the evening arrival to Tirana, accommodation in 3 stars hotel. Dinner and overnight in Tirana.

Day 7. Departure from Albania

After breakfast at the hotel, free time at leisure until departure. Transfer to departure from Albania
