Day 1. Arrival in Albania
Meet and assistance by our representative in arrival. Transfer to sea-port city of Durres which has 3000 years of civilization. Visit to the fortress of the city build in the IV-V century BC. It has 120 hectares and 44 km circumference of surface. The tour proceeds to the Roman amphitheatre with a capacity of 20.000 spectators and the Venetian Tower. In the evening visit to the residence of King Zog I .Accommodation in 3 stars hotel.Dinner and overnight in Durres.
Day 2. Durres-Vlora
After the breakfast to the hotel, transfer to Berat city which is known as the "city of 1000 windows". The history of the city begins 2400 years ago, testimony of which is the fortress of the city; it lies on the hills of the city. Inside the fortress you'll see a lot of tourist objects such as: Onufer museum, Saint Trinity church etc. The tour will proceed to the ancient city of Apollonia which is known since year 588 BC. Apollonia spreads on a surface of 140 hectares, it has had 60.000 inhabitants and it exist for 1200 years. The main objects you'll visit are: Buleuterion, the Odeum, Acropolis,Monastery,Saint Mary's church and the Museum. In afternoon arrival to Vlora city, visit to Muradie's mosque build in 1542.In the evening walking tour at the touristc zone Skele-Uji I ftohte. You can have coffee and enjoy the view that offers Vlora bay, in one of the panoramic bars that are situated in this zone. Accommodation in 3 stars hotel. Dinner and overnight in Vlora.
Day 3. Vlora -Saranda
In the morning we'll leave Vlora city and proceed along the panoramic way of jonian coast which is known as the Albanian Riviera. Along the way you can see the tourist villages of: Palasa,Dhermi,Himara,Vuno,Qeparo,Borsh etc.To Himara you'll visit the fortress which is mentioned for the first time in the II century BC with the name of Karsia. Later it'll be a stop to Porto Palermo to visit the castle of Ali Pasha Tepelena built in 1804 on a picturesque island. During this tour you'll learn in details about the history of the zone.In the evening arrival to Saranda. Accommodation in 3 stars hotel.Dinner and overnight in Saranda.
Day 4. Saranda - Butrint-Gjirokastra
In the morning tour to ancient city of Butrint which is part of world heritage protected by UNESCO. This city dates since the VIII century BC. During the tour to Butrint you'll visit: Acropolis of VIII century BC, the Temple dedicated to Asclep( the healing god) which dates in the IV century BC, the Gate of the lake which belongs to the IV century BC, the Roman theatre of III century BC, Agoraja the main trading center of the city, Gymnasium, a holy pagan place, the Grand patristic of the VI century AC, a Roman house, a fountain of the II century AC, the Castle and the Venetian Tower of the XIV-XVI century AC. In afternoon along the way to Gjirokastra you'll stop to "Blue Eye" source, where you can get a coffee during the time you learn about the legend of this amazing source. In this segment, you can visit Mesopotam and Saint Nicolas church which belongs to the Byzantine period and the ancient city of Foinika. In the evening arrival to stony city of Gjirokastra, visit to the fortress, build in the IV century. Accommodation in Cajupi hotel 3 stars.Dinner and overnight in Gjirokastra.
Day 5. Gjirokastra- Korca
In the morning, along the Vjosa River you can see the charming canyons of Kelcyra outfall. Visit to Leusa church build in 1614 and to Permet city known as the "flowers city". During the lunch you can taste some of the traditional specialties of the zone such as: The lamb baked on a spit, chicken filled with nuts, turndown cheese etc, followed by wine or brandy typical Albanian drinks .Along the way to Korca city you can see a wonderful view of nature, the national park of Hotova,a natural complex really attractive where are found wild animals as: bears, wolves, foxes etc.In the evening arrival to Korca city. Dinner and overnight to the serenades city.
Day 6. Korca-Pogradec-Oher
After the breakfast to the hotel,the tour will proceed to Pogradec city. It's origin begins since the V century BC.In this city you can see the Illyrians wracks, the patristic of V century and 4 monumental graves that date since the III century BC. These monuments are found in Selca which has been the residence of Illyrian King Klit. The tour goes ahead to Ohrid city (Macedonia) Dinner and overnight in Ohrid.
Day 7. Ohrid-Skopje
After breakfast at hotel, visit to Ohrid castle which dates since the III century BC. To the X'th century it becomes the habitation of Cesar Samuel, and was known as the Samuel castle. The antique theatre is situated below the castle to the main center of the old city. It is founded in the II century BC. Visit to saint Naum monastery, Saint Sofia church, Saint Jon church and Saint Clement church. After lunch the tour proceeds to Shkup the capital of Macedonia. In the evening walking tour to the main center of old bazaar, you can do some shopping here. Accommodation in 3 stars hotel.Dinner and overnight in Skopje.
Day 8. Skopje-Pristina
After the breakfast, visit to Saint Clement church and to the native house of Mother Teresa. The tour proceeds to Pristine the capital of Kosovo to know the city and its history. Along the way, visit to Gadima's cavern. Dinner and overnight in Pristina.
Day 9. Pristina-Podgorica
In the morning transfer to Podgorica city, a short stop to Peja where you can have lunch in one of the restaurants. In afternoon arrival to Podgorica(Montenegro).In the evening walking tour to Podgorica city. Accommodation in 3 stars hotel. Dinner and overnight to Podgorica.
Day 10. Podgorica-Budva-Ulqin- Shkodra
After breakfast, visit to coastal city of Budva,and Ulqin.These cities have an ancient culture and civilization, testimony of which are the cultural monuments that dates 2500 years ago. You can see these monuments during the tour.Lunch in Ulqin. After lunch transfer to Shkodra.Dinner and overnight in Shkoder.
Day 11. Shkodra-Lezha-Kruja-Tirana
After breakfast to the hotel, visit to Rozafa's castle to learn about the history of the woman with the same name who was buried alive into the walls of the castle. This fortress has been built in the II century BC. The tour proceeds to Lezha city founded since the IV century BC with the name of Lissus. Visit to the "Memorial of Scanderbey" which is situated to Saint Nicolas cathedral and to Lezha's Castle which is testimony of Illyrians civilization. In afternoon transfer to Kruja city where you can visit medieval castle and the museum of our National Hero George Kastrioti Scanderbey.A short stop to the old bazaar where you can make souvenirs shopping. In the evening arrival to Tirana.Dinner and overnight to Tirana.
Day 12. Departure from Albania
After breakfast to the hotel, walking tour to the main center of the city to visit the watch tower(35m high)build in 1830,E'them Bey mosque build in 1789 and a visit to the National Museum.In midday transfer to "Mother Teresa" airport or Durres harbor to depart from Albania.
